Photographs, a logo and a flyer. All the same firm.
A smart website and a business card run off in a hurry do not read as the same business. We photograph your actual work with a real camera, and we draw the logo, the cards and the flyer to match the site. The files are yours to keep and you order the printing wherever you like.
Photography from £250 for a full day. Logo, cards and flyer £250 for all three. Both on any plan, and both included once a year on Full.
What difference do proper photographs make?
Proper photographs are the one thing on your website nobody can copy, scrape or generate. Google says plainly that it promotes original content ahead of sites that merely repeat it, and a photograph of your actual job is as original as content gets.
Photographs of your actual work
We photograph your work, your premises and your team, properly, with a real camera. Bright, properly lit photographs of your actual work are the one thing on your website nobody can copy, scrape or generate. We are photographers. The shoot, the editing and putting the pictures on your site are all ours.
£250 for a full day
What do you get for the logo, cards and flyer?
All three designed together for £250, and the files are yours. A logo drawn as vector, business cards, and an A5 flyer, all looking like the same business as your website.
A logo, cards and a flyer that match the website
Your logo drawn properly, as vector, so it stays sharp on a card, a flyer, a sign or the side of a vehicle, and never comes back fuzzy from a printer. Then business cards and an A5 flyer designed to look like the same business as your website, because a smart site and a card run off in a hurry do not read as the same firm.
Set up the way a printer needs it, so nothing gets rescaled or trimmed through your phone number. We do not print them and we make nothing on the printing. You get the finished files, you order them wherever you like, and you pay the printer direct. The files are yours to keep and hand to anybody.
£250 for all three
What you get once you choose
What makes a flyer somebody actually reads?
Four things, and the first one is arithmetic rather than taste. None of this is a secret. It is the sort of thing you learn once a print job has come back wrong.
The type is sized from how far away it is read
A headline on a sheet pinned behind a trade counter is read from two or three metres, and the letters have to be big enough for that distance. It is a division rather than an opinion, and it is the reason a flyer that "looks fine" on a screen is unreadable on a wall.
An A4 sheet cannot be comfortably read from three metres. If that is what you need, you want A3, not more work on the A4.
Not everybody scans the code
A QR code is worth putting on, and it is not the only way in. The phone number is not decoration beside it. It goes big enough to read from where somebody is standing, rather than tucked in a footer.
The code goes where somebody who has walked over can reach it, at a size a phone can read at arm's length, with a line saying why they would bother.
Bleed exists because the blade wanders
A guillotine cutting a stack of paper moves a millimetre or two, so the background has to run past the trim line. Otherwise one edge comes back with a white sliver down it.
And the size has to match what that printer asks for exactly. Send the wrong one and their uploader rescales the whole file, which moves every measurement including the trim. The rescale is the failure, not the extra millimetres.
Silk or matt on dark artwork, never gloss
Gloss shows every fingerprint, and a dark card looks grubby in a pocket by the end of a day. Cards go on heavy stock and flyers on lighter, and the printer is told the bleed is already in the file so nothing gets scaled to fit.
Paper has no undo. A typo on a website is a two minute fix. Five hundred flyers with the wrong price are five hundred flyers in a bin, so every figure is checked against the live site before anything is ordered.
What people ask about this
Five, and the first one is the one everybody wants answering.
Do I have to use your printer?
No, and we do not have one. You get the finished files set up the way a printer needs them, you order them wherever you like, and you pay the printer direct. We make nothing on the printing.
The files are yours to keep and to hand to anybody, including whoever does your signs or your vehicles in two years.
What do I actually get for the £250?
Your logo drawn properly as vector, business cards, and an A5 flyer. All three designed to look like the same business as your website, and set up so nothing gets rescaled or trimmed through your phone number.
Vector means it stays sharp at any size, so the same logo works on a card, a flyer, a sign or the side of a vehicle and never comes back fuzzy. Every price is published.
What if I already have a logo?
Then we use it, and it costs you nothing. Bring whatever you have. If we only have a small picture of it we draw it again as vector, so it stays sharp on a card, a flyer, a sign or the side of a vehicle.
What does a shoot add to the photos I already have?
Use them, and they are worth more than stock. A phone full of real jobs is the best content a trade or a local service business owns, and we ask for them on every build.
The shoot is for the ones a phone cannot do: the front of the premises in good light, your team, and the finished work photographed properly. Bright, properly lit photographs of your actual work are the one thing on your website nobody can copy, scrape or generate.
Is any of it included in a plan?
On Full, yes: a half day of photography every year and the logo, cards and flyer refreshed every year. On every other plan both are add-ons at the published price, on top of whatever you are on.
