Terms of use

These cover the use of this website. They are not the agreement for any work we do for you. That is a separate written agreement, signed before anything starts, and it is where the things that actually matter live: what you get, what it costs, what you own, and how either of us ends it.

Who we are

Foothold AI is a sole trader based in Suffolk, England, working with businesses across the UK.

The prices on this site

We publish our prices because we think you should be able to see them without asking. They are correct at the date above and we may change them, though never for work already agreed with you.

The prices shown are the price you pay. We are not currently registered for VAT, so there is nothing to add. If that changes, the site will say so plainly.

Prices on this site are an invitation to talk, not a binding offer. The quote we give you in writing is the one that counts, because it is built around what your business actually needs.

Stopping your care plan

Tell us in writing, and an email is fine. There is one more monthly payment, and then it stops.

That month is not a penalty and it is not us keeping you. It is when we hand everything over: we move the code, the hosting and the database into your name, run your exports, come off your Google account, and stay on the end of the phone while you settle in.

There is no minimum term and no contract length. You can do this in your second month or your fortieth.

The setup fee covers building your website, and your website is yours to keep whatever happens next. That fee is not refunded, because the work it paid for is done and it belongs to you.

This is a summary. The agreement you sign is the one that governs it, and it says the same thing.

What this site is for

This site explains what we do and what we charge for it. Everything on it is accurate at the date above, with the source beside anything you can check. If anything reads wrong to you, tell us and it gets fixed.

Nothing here is professional advice, whether about search, marketing, AI, tax, data protection or the law. Where we mention rules, we say where they come from so you can check them yourself. For your own situation, take proper advice.

What we stand behind

Everything on this site is written to be accurate on the day. We update it as things change, because the rules around search and AI change often. No website can be guaranteed free of errors or available every minute of the day, and this one is no exception.

No result from search, advertising or AI can be guaranteed by anybody, ours included. If somebody offers you a guaranteed position on Google, that is a promise nobody can keep.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, usually to a source so you can check something for yourself, we are not responsible for what is on it and it is not an endorsement.

Our content

The words, images and design on this site belong to us. Quote us, link to us, or show a colleague, that is fine and welcome. Please do not copy the site wholesale and pass it off as your own.

Our liability

We are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, or from relying on general information published here rather than on advice given to you directly. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Plain version. Read the site, check our prices, hold us to what we have written. If we work together, the agreement we both sign is what governs it, and we go through it with you line by line.
